Our Team:

The Brand and Innovation Project Manager will be accountable for end-to-end responsibility for brand innovation projects for local brands, leading a cross-functional team. This position will be reporting to the Regional Head of Projects and Brand Innovations based in Singapore.


Responsibilities

  • Gather all inputs to assess the eligibility of project and subsequent inputs across the Innovation process: brand requirement, consumer research, business case, science/ reg constraints, risk assessment, feasibility assessment
  • Prepare project timeline
  • Closely follow the development with Science / Development Centers
  • Prepare production scale-up with IA
  • Handle relationships with CDMOs for outsourced activities
  • Gather the brand team’s input for the initial launch plan
  • Conduct launch readiness analysis
  • Conduct in-market success analysis (post-launch)
  • Responsible for inputting info in the Innovation System and preparing documents and presentations for the Inno Committee
  • Produce dashboards to monitor project performance and share with key stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Manage project budget as per allocation defined by the client of the project.

  • Science process experts (medical, regulatory, development centers, procurement, M&S, finance, etc.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in innovation and project management gained at Consumer Healthcare or FMCG / FMCH company.
  • Proven track record in project management, handling multiple projects, and working closely with Marketing.

Soft skills:

  • Ability to understand requirements from the different functions, especially Science
  • Lead cross-functional team and set the pace for delivery
  • Strong reporting capabilities, without bias
  • Multi-tasking skills - Ability to manage several projects in parallel
  • Procative - Demonstrate strong ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Business Partnetring - High capacity of persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with cross functional partners
  • Good communication and partnership skills

Languages:

The ideal candidate for this position must be fluent in both English and Japanese, as they will be required to communicate effectively in a business setting in Japan and with regional stakeholders and participate in global business interactions. Additionally, this role will involve developing project plans and conducting marketing campaign analysis, which may require the ability to write in both Japanese and English.
